About Me

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts with several years of experience supporting adults navigating severe and persistent mental illness. I have completed specialized training and certifications in mood and thought disorders, as well as perinatal and maternal mental health. These experiences allow me to bring a broad and thoughtful perspective to my work while remaining committed to ongoing learning and growth as a clinician. I believe therapy should be a collaborative and supportive process tailored to your unique needs and goals.

I attended Providence College, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. During my undergraduate studies, I pursued a variety of field experiences including work within a public, lottery-based charter school supporting children with social-emotional needs. I also worked with adults experiencing housing insecurity through street outreach and rapid rehousing programs, where I gained a deeper understanding of the intersection between mental health, untreated trauma, substance use disorders, and access to housing and community resources. In addition, I had the opportunity to engage with individuals at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center while supporting re-entry and reintegration programming.

I completed my graduate studies through the Advanced Practice Program at Bridgewater State University. I completed my clinical training at the Department of Mental Health in Brockton, Massachusetts, where I developed skills in diagnostic assessment, policy development, and the clinical treatment of major mental health disorders. Through my policy work, I was a contributing member of the Zero Suicide Task Force, helping to develop treatment pathways for individuals living with chronic suicidality while supporting providers in implementing research-informed treatment approaches. This work was recognized with an award from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I was a founding member of a Coordinated Specialty Care program for First-Episode Psychosis designed to reduce the duration of untreated psychosis among young adults in Southeastern Massachusetts. Through this work, I received specialized training in both individual and family treatment and was honored with a second award from the Commonwealth.

Throughout my career, I have worked across a range of clinical settings supporting individuals and families with complex mental health needs. My experience includes providing individual and group therapy within MCI Framingham, providing community-based mental health treatment for individuals with major mental health conditions engaged in Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) teams within the Department of Mental Health, and serving as a supervising clinician within a first-episode psychosis program for young adults in the Greater Boston area. I later worked as a Clinical Supervisor at Franciscan Children’s Hospital, where I developed and led a collaborative program with Boston’s only public therapeutic day school, integrating therapy and psychiatric care into the academic setting for students with social-emotional IEPs. My clinical work also includes supporting families in the NICU at Brigham and Women’s Hospital through experiences related to birthing trauma, bereavement and complex medical diagnoses. Presently, I maintain my own practice while also serving individuals as a Senior Clinician within a hospital-based outpatient psychiatry program.

These experiences have shaped my approach as a provider by reinforcing the importance of seeing each person as an individual first, rather than through the lens of a diagnosis alone. My goal is to build a collaborative therapeutic relationship grounded in curiosity, compassion, and trust, while taking the time to understand each client’s unique experiences, strengths and needs. I prioritize thoughtful diagnostic clarification, individualized treatment planning, and shared decision-making so that therapy feels meaningful, empowering and tailored to you. Together, we will develop a comprehensive treatment approach that supports long-term growth, healing and overall well-being.
